There is also an opportunity to fly over the Magaliesberg mountains in a Thunderbird aeroplane, or in a hot air balloon, or even gliding silently by in a hang glider. Mountain climbing of course is a must, but with much of the mountain being protected by law, it is essential to contact the Mountaineering Clubs, in order to arrange a permit before you mountaineer.
